Krause is het alter ego van de Groningse Susanne Clermonts. Krause is electropop. Althans zo noemt ze haar muziek zelf. Pop klinkt misschien wel iets te lief, want de beats zijn vet, de analoge synthesizers krakend en schurend en haar zang lekker ruig. Trash en punk zijn ook namen die Krause eer aandoen. Tot zover de muziek. Krause is ook nog eens show. Ze geeft zelf een uitstekende performance weg, die helemaal past in de traditie van haar muziek. Stoer en ruig. Electroclichés en stoere poses worden daarbij niet geschuwd, maar dat geeft niets, want het klopt gewoon allemaal. Kortom, Krause gaat er voor en dat doet ze met overtuiging. Wat je je het liefste bij electrotrash voorstelt: een dampende en knetterende show, dat is wat je krijgt. Het contrast met Susanne Clermonts zelf is groot, want –zo blijkt bijvoorbeeld uit reportages op lokale en regionale tv- Susanne is een sympathieke en enigszins giebelende jongedame. Wel iemand die heel goed weet wat ze wil en eenmaal achter de computer fanatiek en geïnspireerd haar nummers in elkaar componeert.

De boys bij Patta hebben een sneakpeek losgelaten van de Nike Air Max 1 Patta “White/Chlorophyll” die door hun wordt gereleased tijdens de komende winter. Lime groen wordt de hoofd accent kleur, terwijl de rest van de schoen is opgebouwd uit grijs suède en wit mesh op de toebox. Het logo van Patta siert verder op de tong van de schoen. Een apart frisse colorway voor de winter, die als Quickstrike in beperke aantallen zal worden gereleased.

Charged with updating a classic Nike design, 1987’s Air Max 1, the Nike Sportswear Footwear Design Team dialed up technological innovations and re-mastered the performance and aesthetic of the original style to create the Nike Air Maxim 1+ Parra.

Nike took the original Air Max 1 design brief and ran it through a present-day filter, says Nike Sportswear Design Director Jesse Leyva. They tried to solve the very same problems Tinker Hatfield did with the technology of that time, using the technologies and Nike sporting innovations of today and tomorrow. The design team focused on lightweight stability and cushioning. The result is a staggering 66% weight reduction from the original, with the Air Maxim coming in at a mere 10.1 ounces. This dramatic weight reduction can be attributed to several key features:

-Introduction of the innovative Acespan Mesh, a lightweight material developed for the 2008 Nike LunaRacer.

-Flywire Technology, drastically reducing the weight while creating an upper that moves with the foot and is stronger than ever.

-Deployment of a three-piece injected Phylon midsole, optimizing cushioning and support.

-Use of lightweight screen-printed Swoosh design trademark and eyelet details.

This Nike Air Maxim 1+ “Black/Sport Red-Baltic Blue” designed by Piet Parra has a classic shape made out of black leather and the flywire technology. The mudguard comes in fresh black suede and inside black mesh lining. Contrast stitching in red and light blue. Timeless colorway for great combinations!
